Ok...These are amazing!! Come to Canada please!!
-Travis and I celebrated our ONE year anniversary! I cannot even believe it has been a year. The even scarier part is that we have almost lived in Medicine Hat for a year (coming up in September). Marriage is wonderful, I have a great husband and I am so blessed...I have absolutely nothing to complain about! (And if you are wondering...no kiddos yet!) We had a pretty low key day filled with beautiful flowers, a delicious meal of sushi and a nice walk. The following weekend we ventured down to Great Falls, MT to spend the night and a bunch of money! It was so wonderful! (Don't get me wrong, a tropical vacation would have been wonderful as well, but we are trying to pay off a car AND save money!)
-I'm working a temporary full time position that is going to last until the end of August which is awesome! I'm thankful I am staying busy, working and making sweet money! Travis got a job working for a company here in Medicine Hat called Kenco Homes. They are a construction company that builds fancy houses. Between both of us working full time jobs, its amazing if we can even sit down together some nights! Its hard because I work shift work, so some weeks I'll be sleeping when Travis leaves at 6:30am and then I end up working till 10:15pm...not very much fun! These random hours are also very difficult with only 1 vehicle! So we invested in a bus pass so I can conquer Medicine Hat, even when Travis is at work. (Ok, so I got on the wrong bus the other day and ended up getting very lost and ended up riding the entire route without getting off...making me feel just like the other crazy people that are regulars on the city bus)
-The apartment next to us in our building has been vacant for a very long time and we have been very lucky...however we have neighbors now! I believe they are East Indian (I am only guessing by the exotic smelling food that sometimes gets cooked at 7am) and I also believe there are 10 people living in that 3 bedroom place...and there are kids living there, did I mention we live in an all adult building? I am also pretty sure Travis and I are the only white people in our building. I'm sure I have said this before, but I don't think I'll miss the scuzzy apartment living days!! Or at least this will make me especially grateful when we are able to live in our own house one day!!

ROAD TRIP
-We are so blessed to have met so many great people through church out here! Recently Travis and a bunch of married guys started up a "touch" football league and they get together and play against a bunch of YSA guys while the wives/girlfriends watch. So fun! I was a little nervous when we first moved here and we were informed that there was only like 2 other young married couples in the Stake...but now there are more and they are all wonderful!

America is wonderful! All of this for less than $20.
That's about it...our life isn't too exciting because all we do is work!! But it will be all worth it when our new car is 100% payed off by the end of summer! Then we have to start paying off student loans and eventually buy a HOUSE! Yay! I am so excited for what the future has in store....even if it means we have to work our butts off! It will all be worth it in a few years! :)
That's all for now!
