A Few Homemade Presents!

People say I am crafty.  I appear to be crafty but it does not come without work. To quote Juno:

Juno MacGuff: I think I'm in love with you.
Paulie Bleeker: You mean as friends?
Juno MacGuff: No... I mean for real. 'Cause you're, like, the coolest person I've ever met, and you don't even have to try, you know...
Paulie Bleeker
: I try really hard, actually.

So if you think I look cool...I try really hard, actually.

Here are a few of the things I have slapped together recently! (Pictures are more exciting than me rambling)

I wanted to get a little something for some of our close friends for christmas...but being on a budget, what could I do! I saw this on Pinterest (duh) and thought it might be cute! They actually turned out better than I thought! (Excuse the crap photography, if you have read my blog before, you'll have noticed I am the worst at taking pictures. These were still in the process of drying when I took the pictures!)

Bought a tile from home depot, modge podge, scrapbook paper
then creeped everyone's facebook for a picture!

The lovely Dan & Alana

Colin, Brit & their adorable daughter.

The Kay's

Engaged couple!! So exciting!

I legit watched a 7 minute video how to tie a ribbon.
Lets just say it looked a lot different on the video...

This is a little book I put together for my brother-in-law and his wife. They got married 2 weeks before us, so I figured they would appreciate a bunch of cheap date ideas/things to do!

Ok. This is a terrible picture. But with the help of someone with a vinyl cutter, I was able to
make this sign for my in-laws. The idea is that family pictures could surround the family
name. I thought it turned out pretty good!
This was a pre-cut shelf from totem, spray painted and distressed with white paint.

Finally I put this together for my dear husband.

So I guess you could say I have been busy. Totally worth it. Homemade gifts are the best! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
